ForceCast Artwork - Memories of Star Wars Celebration
Posted by Jim on July 20, 2010 at 04:00 PM CST:

While doing some housecleaning in preparation for our trip to Orlando next month, I stumbled across some artwork by talented resident ForceCast artist Jedi Shua, Josh Stolte. Josh really has a fun style and his caricature work is awesome. You've seen his artwork in the past via the custom logos he has created for special ForceCast episodes, like Boba Fest. He has also created fantastic and hilarious artwork as a tribute to ForceCast trips to previous Celebrations - specifically CIV in 2007 and Celebration Japan in 2008. Lets start with Star Wars Celebration IV and The Kessel Run!

The following year, Josh found himself inspired by our 7 Days of Celebration Japan coverage featuring exclusive interviews with Mark Hamill, Ray Park, Peter Mayhew, Jeremy Bulloch, Matt Wood, Tim Rose, Amy Allen, Temuera Morrison, and artist extraordinaire Lawrence Nobel (who we were supposed to meet at Tony Roma's for dinner but we got lost!). Celebration Japan was also notorious for being the event where Dan Curto wanted to ride everything! Josh did a great job capturing all the Far East ForceCast adventure and excitement at Celebration Japan!

Still inspired, Josh created ForceCast trading cards combining some of the wacky ForceCast moments from CIV, CJ, and beyond.

Who knows what events and adventures from CV will end up as an artistic recreation by our buddy Josh? Will we find Tony Roma's this time? What can Curto ride? Stay tuned for the answers to these questions and more! CV is less than a month away and we cannot wait to see YOU there!
